I remember many years ago telling my brother that I was looking forward to being the world's greatest grandpa. He looked at me with a surprised expression. Being several years younger than me, it had never crossed his mind to begin thinking about the grandparenting stage of life.
For the last year plus I have been grandpa. Working on my goal has been a challenge as Kaiden lives almost 300 miles away. But, being a grandparent is a total blast.
Grandparents have the wonderful responsibility of loving and nurturing another generation to faith and service to Christ. How awesome!
Now, for the purpose of this post. I just couldn't resist showing him off to you.
